Mind Your Head Australia

the Youth Wellbeing Project

Educating through Mental Health First Aid courses so all young Tasmanians can thrive.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches practical skills to help people who are experiencing mental health problems

Let’s discuss which courses are right for you.

Mental Health First Aid is the help given to a person who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.  The help is given until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis is resolved.

Mind your Head Australia’s early intervention programs support and mobilise schools, families and communities to take a proactive approach to mental health education.

“Absolutely brilliant course…"

…amazing set of skills that made a comfortable environment for all!
Absolutely brilliant course, wish I had told many more about it - I know so many people in this community who would benefit from and love to do this course. I hope it is run again soon.”
